Art Week 2018

This year for Art Week the children were very excited to have the opportunity to work alongside three artists from The Whitworth Art Gallery. Each key stage focused on a famous artist. Nursery and Reception learned about Lucienne Day, Key Stage 1 looked at Vincent Van Gogh and Key Stage 2 chose Picasso. The visiting artists focused on drawing, printing and collage techniques. The children worked throughout the week to create some fantastic pieces of art that have now been turned into wonderful displays around our school.
