Science is for Parents too!
Manchester Adult Education Services ran a six-week course giving parents and children the chance to work together to create experiments, study chemical reactions, create non-Newtonian fluids, make a model volcano, and learn about the weather, electricity, and the solar system.
Parents and children had lots of fun in one of the last sessions, where they made cars with different materials and rolled them down ramps to measure how far they travelled. They challenged themselves to make adjustments each time, seeing if they could travel even further!
