Christ The King RC Primary School

The Parent and Carer Forum at Christ the King RC Primary School

At Christ the King, we are committed to working closely with parents and carers. We value the partnership which exists between school, families and the Parish and the part that this plays in school improvement.

We know that we already have a variety of ways available for you to express your views and opinions, but feel that we can enhance this communication further by initiating a Parent and Carer Forum, based on our religious education provision and school mission.  The forum meetings will be a place where you will be able to learn more about the children’s faith journey as members of our school community.  Fr Derek is planning to attend the meetings, when available, which will allow us to share more about the school /parish links we have.  It will also be an opportunity for you to share ideas about how you may be able to contribute to the children’s faith journey.

We meet at 2:15pm on the first Thursday of each month, during the academic year.  If you would like to know more, please call into the office and ask to speak to either Mrs Deacy or Mrs Malone.  We run a recruitment drive each September, but we do currently have some vacancies.  Our aim is to have one parent/carer from each class.  Please see the most recent minutes to identify if there is a gap in your child's class or year group.

Many thanks

Members of the Parent and Carer Forum.
