My Manchester Music Hub

 Manchester is a very rich city for music and young people can engage in a whole range of music making. Manchester's Irish bands are competition winners, our Russian groups are well known and respected in Russia and we have a whole raft of young people playing steel pans and of course we have a wealth of pop and jazz musicians just waiting to entertain you!

We live in a city where classical music is exceptional through the Hallé Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, and the BBC Philharmonic young people have the opportunity to join their youth orchestras, wind bands and choirs and to seal it off we have some of the very best conservatoire training in the country though Chetham's School, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Universities of Manchester.

On the Manchester Music Hub site you can find out about the work of the Hub and how they are funded; their commissioned partner One Education Music and the cultural organisations who deliver music tuition and music projects in and around Manchester.
