Christ The King RC Primary School

Extra Curricular

We have a variety of extra curricular clubs for children to partake in after school, giving them the chance to boost their wellbeing, strengthen relationships, and nurture their unique and God-given gifts.

Pupils enjoy a range of interesting extra-curricular activities that have been designed to
complement the subjects that they study. Activities and clubs are carefully chosen to
promote pupils’ personal development, for example their resilience when raft building or
rock climbing. There is a diverse range of clubs on offer, including skateboarding and
archery. -Ofsted

Take a look at examples of some of the clubs we typically offer!

Irish Club

Children get to learn all about Irish culture and traditions, including Irish music, dance, and Irish language poetry. Our main focus is dance, which entails solo, pair, and group performances. Children practise with the goal of putting on a performance for St Patrick’s Day, which is always amazing to watch!

Gardening Club

Children learn all about gardening and plant beautiful flowers to decorate our school grounds. Thanks to the Gardening Club for making our school look so bright and colourful, so we could celebrate our 80th Anniversary in style!

Art Club

Art Club: Children get very creative in our Art Club, making everything from papier mache to piggy banks! We’re lucky to have such talented artists in our school.

Dance Club

Dance Club: Children have lots of fun learning new dance routines and coming up with their own, working together to express themselves and tell stories through their performances.
